It was a historic moment for the Goethe-Zentrum today. The Zentrum signed an MoU with the Army Public School in Trivandrum to teach German. The MoU was signed in the presence of honourable Station Commander Brigadier Shri Lalit Sharma SC, SM and the principal of the School, Dr. Raji V. R.
Brigadier Shri Lalit Sharma SC, SM emphasized the importance of such an initiative by the school and urged the children to make the best use of this opportunity. In his address, Dr. Syed Ibrahim highlighted the benefits of learning German and welcomed the children to the world of German language.
As a welcome gesture, the Zentrum gifted the young German learners of the APS with a Goethe rucksack.
The station commander acknowledged the generous support of the Goethe-Zentrum and presented Dr. Syed with a memento from the Indian Army.
